Writer / Director Elliot Diviney has been making movies since he was 7 years old.  Ever since the first video camera came into the Diviney household in 1989, he has been passionate about telling stories and entertaining audiences.  While enrolled in Wayzata High School, he was very active in the TV Production program and in 2005 graduated with a B.A. in 'Cinema and Comparative Literature' from the University of Iowa.   While attending school he focused on film and video production / post-production.  When he returned to MN, Elliot learned Avid editing software from an intensive training course at the Minnesota School of Business.  Elliot then worked as a crew member on various video  projects operating as P.A., boom mic operator, and cameraman.  Elliot now works downtown Minneapolis as a freelance video editor.  He has assisted on "recap episodes" for Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Battlestar Galactica, Ugly Betty, Brothers and Sisters, and The 4400.  When not working, Elliot spends his freetime pursuing smaller video projects for Diviney Pictures.  In 2005, Elliot won a national contest through NBC and Youtube for creating a 20 second spot for "The Office."  The commercial appeared both on the website, and twice during episodes on NBC.  The short can also be seen on the season 3 DVD.  Elliot is currently directing a second feature film for Diviney Pictures.
